Why bother?

The modern world is fast paced, and very often our attention is pulled quickly in different directions.
This can leave us feeling tired, distracted, anxious and perhaps close to burnout.
This is all in contrast to some of the key skills for problem solving and relationship development, which require time, patience, and empathy.

Mindfulness practice involves a non-judgemental paying attention to ourselves and acknowledging/accepting the constant chatter and criticism of our minds, but without being overwhelmed. We listen but continue the practice.
It is about patiently training our minds in a way that will automatically help us be less easily distracted and more focussed, amongst other benefits.

The daily practice of Mindfulness helps develop an increased present moment awareness which is a key skill for problem solving, creativity and relationship development.
Mindfulness gives individuals a practice that over time results in more focus, greater compassion and an ease with life.
